What is a specialty group?
Specialty groups are formed around a common interest.
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
- MOPS @ McLane is chartered with MOPS International. We strive to meet the needs of moms from pregnancy through their child's kindergarten year. We exist to encourage, equip, and develop every mom in the early stage of mothering to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Covering everything from Bible-based teaching, creative parenting ideas and topics that affect every home and mom, this group begins with a large group gathering and then develops strong relationships and support in a time of small group sharing. Children are well taken care of in the nursery allowing mothers to open their hearts without interruption.
- We meet the 2nd & 4th Thursdays of the month, from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. in the PowerZone area of McLane Church (Edinboro site). For more information, contact Lynora Rumm at 734-1907.
McLane Men of Prayer
- This is a group of guys who come to McLane Church (Edinboro site) at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday mornings to enjoy a cup of hot coffee and lift up the needs of our church before the Lord. If you have a heart for the Lord and for the ministry of our church, please join in! This is a totally open group and we'd love to have you with us.
