At McLane Church, the community group is the best place for sustained life change to occur. In a community group, people study God's Word together and discuss the issues and challenges of life. It's also where they pray, care for one another, and are missed if they don't show up.
Practically speaking, there will never be a way for the staff or elders to personally minister to everyone who attends our church. That's why we place such a high premium on group life. It's how we minister effectively at McLane. To find out more about community groups we encourage you to join us at our next GroupLink. In every generation at McLane Church, we celebrate “doing life” together in community. There are vibrant small groups in our children’s, student’s and young adult ministries. For adults, we offer three types of groups:

What is a small group?
A small group is NOT a social club, meditation group, or lecture environment. A small group IS a personal and predictable group environment where people can grow in their relationship with others and their intimacy with God.
How does it work?
It’s simple: You meet somewhere regularly with people like yourself in an enjoyable setting where truth without apology is expected and questions about life, love, God, and anything else are welcomed and discussed.
Why join a small group?
It’s about growth. It’s about discipleship. It’s about community. It’s about becoming more like Christ. A small group is an intentional place – we meet together to hear God and share what He is doing in our lives.
How do I join a small group?
How you join a group depends on what type of group you are joining. Please check out our group types and see what kind of group is right for you.
