Early Childhood
Our early childhood children begin our full PowerZone programming once they are two years old. We introduce these children to God’s love for them in very concrete ways and bring the Bible to life for them. The time consists of the following activities:
Activity Stations
Children are greeted when they arrive and are invited to select one of the activities to play. This is the time when our staff connects with them through play and talks to them about their week’s activities.
Kid Connection
Our children break into small groups and are asked a question that leads into a discussion about the key concept for the day.
Worship and Teaching
Next, the children interact with creative Bible teaching that is interspersed with fun and meaningful worship.
Small Group Time
After worship and teaching, the children break into small groups again where they participate in activities such as a craft, game, and discussion that reinforces the key concept they learned during worship and teaching.
This is also the time where they interact more closely with the other children and their small group leader and build closer relationships.
At the end they pray together and are ready for pick up.
What to Bring
- If your child still wears a diaper or is potty training, please bring and extra diaper and set of clothes.
