GroupLife Site Leadership News

We are excited to consider how GroupLife will be growing throughout 2013.  One of the significant changes is happening at our sites in Erie and Union City with the addition of two couples who will oversee small group ministry in those locations.  We'd like you to get to know more about them!

Bruce & Laura Lee Thomas are our new GroupLife Site Leaders in Union City!

The Thomas' have two boys, Cody (18) and Clay (7).

Bruce works for the Western Game Farm in Cambridge Springs.  He has been there for about 23 years.  His latest passion is dog sledding.  He has his own team and tries to run some between wrestling practices and matches.

On the ranch the whole family helps in up keep, haying, planting, etc.  Laura Lee trains horses and is a professional barrel racer competing in rodeos all across the US & Canada.  Bruce used to compete in steer wrestling and team roping plus some other events but he has been retired from that for about 6 years.  Click here to visit their website

Matt and Amber Livermore are our new GroupLife Site Leaders in Erie!

Matt and Amber have been married for 2 and half years.  They live in Saegertown, with their dog Ziggy (named after Zig Ziglar)  and have been committed to McLane Church Erie for three years...often attending both morning and evening services.  They are passionate about Erie and seeing people grow closer to God, so leading this growing ministry is a perfect fit.

GroupLife at all the sites are in for a treat since Matt and Amber are creative, energetic, and wise.  They have led several small groups and understand the ups and downs, the messiness and rewards of GroupLife.

Matt is a lineman at Penelec out of Erie.  Amber is a technician in the G.I. lab at Meadville Medical Center.
