So we're past the New Year excitement and things are settling back into their regular routine. Are you looking for some ideas that your group can do together?
Of course there's some great outdoor winter activities. Skiing, sledding, or even having a snowball fight and and then warming up by a warm fireplace. If you're looking for something warmer, maybe a movie, bowling, or even going roller skating!
If your gang is into spectator sports, McLane Church is selling tickets for the Faith and Family Night with the Erie Bayhawks next Friday night (Jan. 21st). Tickets are just $7 and can be purchased in our food court before or after worship services.
The church is also hosting our first ever game dinner on Thursday, February 10th. This
is actually designed as an outreach to bring in unchurched sportsmen to enjoy a time of camaraderie, some good chow, and a great presentation by wildlife photographer Charlie Alsheimer. You may want to encourage the sportsmen in your group to "bring a buddy" and come to the event. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for children 12 years and younger.
So shake off the winter doldrums and find a way to have some laughs and make a memory with your small group friends! Have fun!
