Perspective is key in all of life. How you see the world around you greatly impacts how you live in it! Think about it…perspective can see a glass as half full or half empty. Perspective can see an opportunity or can spell out defeat. Perspective can cause you to run for dear life…or to fight for dear life!
Out of your perspective flow your actions and reactions to life happening.
The funny thing about perspective is that it almost never changes your situation…it just speaks into it.
God has a unique perspective that He offers us. It is based on truth. There is only ONE being that knows all, sees all, can do all and is in all places. This lends itself well to perspective. God is uniquely qualified to offer us perspective…from His perfect will into our very own life…God offers us a new perspective…but how do we get it?
I’m incredibly exited about this weekend at Forward Hall as I get the opportunity to talk about practical advice from the Apostle Paul in Romans 12 that starts with a lesson in perspective.
Romans 12 starts with these words: “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.”
What does this lesson in perspective mean for us?
Maybe you’ve wondered how a space mission that took place in 1968, swimming in lake Erie, being grounded as a kid, Earth day, and Romans 12 all link together?
Come to Forward Hall this Sunday and I’ll tie them together and offer a God-perspective on life.
Hope you’ve had a great week!
